Tower Beach Club is located inside a public beach park, which means parking here is very different from a private venue with a dedicated lot. We do not control the parking lots, cannot reserve spaces, and cannot guarantee parking availability at all times. Parking is plentiful at times, and jam-packed at other times. Parking conditions depend heavily on time of day, day of week, season, weather, and City activity in the park.
The good news is that for most late-afternoon and evening events - which is the majority of our events - parking is usually straightforward. During the daytime, however, especially on summer weekends or during certain summer weekday programs run by the City, parking can become much more competitive.
There are two primary public parking areas used by Tower Beach Club guests:
The second lot is still very close to the venue - roughly a 3-minute walk.

If you only want the quick summary:
For most Tower Beach Club events, guests arrive in the late afternoon or evening. This is generally the easiest time to park.
Why? Because the main competition for parking here is beach traffic, and beach traffic drops off significantly later in the day. By around 5pm and later, the lots often clear out almost completely.
If your event is a wedding, private party, or corporate event with guests arriving in the late afternoon or evening, parking is typically much easier than it is during peak daytime beach hours.
On most weekdays during the daytime, parking is generally plentiful, especially outside of peak summer conditions. Since most beach visitors are working during the week, weekday daytime parking is often much better than weekend daytime parking.
The main exception is mid-summer lifeguard camp season, which we detail below.
Each summer, the City runs lifeguard camp programs in the area for roughly 6–8 weeks, typically around mid-June through late July or early August (timing can vary slightly from year to year). Here is a link to their schedule.
During those weeks, weekday daytime parking can become much busier than usual because hundreds of children are dropped off and picked up in the area. That added traffic can create a temporary parking crunch, especially for morning and daytime weekday events.
This does -not mean parking is always bad during the summer - it means there is a specific 6-8 week stretch when weekday daytime parking can be much more impacted than it normally would be.
If your event is taking place during the day on a summer weekend, parking can be difficult simply because Tower Beach Club is in a public beach area. On warm summer weekends, the surrounding lots can fill up with beachgoers, park visitors, and other public traffic.
For daytime summer weekend events, guests should not expect the experience of a private venue with dedicated parking right outside the entrance. Instead, it is better to think of it like parking for a busy beach destination or urban entertainment district: possible, but sometimes competitive.
For those events, we strongly recommend that guests:
There is also a City parking restriction every Tuesday from 6am-noon affecting the spaces adjacent to the grass. This is a City rule tied to park maintenance, not a Tower Beach Club policy. You can still park in the center island spots, just not the spots adjacent the grass.
In practice, this Tuesday morning restriction usually does not create major issues on its own. However, if it overlaps with a busy summer lifeguard camp period, it can make Tuesday morning parking tighter than normal for early daytime events.
Overnight parking is not allowed in the public lots. Vehicles left overnight may be ticketed.
If you are hosting an event and have vendors, guests, or staff considering leaving a vehicle overnight, please plan accordingly.
If you want the most accurate rule of thumb, it’s this:
Because Tower Beach Club is inside a public beach park, parking conditions can change based on season, weather, special City activity, and beach traffic. We always recommend that hosts think about parking in the context of their specific event date and start time, rather than asking whether parking is simply “good” or “bad.”
